1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account (email, phone number, name), documents you upload for analysis, and usage data (pages visited, features used). We also collect technical data such as browser type and device information for service improvement.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your uploaded documents are processed by AI models (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT-4o) to provide the analysis service. We use your account information to manage your account and communicate with you. We do not use your documents to train AI models.

3. Data Storage & Security

Documents and analysis results are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Files are stored in encrypted Supabase Storage buckets. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We retain your documents for 90 days after the last scan, after which they are automatically deleted.

4. Third-Party Services

We share document text (not files) with AI model providers for analysis. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We use: Google Cloud Vision (OCR), Google Gemini (extraction), Anthropic Claude (analysis), and OpenAI (fallback analysis). We also use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Resend for email delivery.

5. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page. You may also request data export by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and language preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics cookies that identify individual users.

7. Children's Privacy

GotRedFlags is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
